Palri Pema Ösal Dargyé LingLike the true nature of mind remains uneffected by fleeting thoughts and emotions, the temple at Lerab Ling, rising high into the sky, enjoys all kinds of weather: hot and sunny days, stormy, rainy phases, and all possible variations of clouds and light.
I was born in Hamburg/Germany in 1977. Between 1980-1984 I lived in Rio de Janeiro/Brasil. Afterwards I lived again in Hamburg, going to school and studying Tibetology and Indology at Hamburg University under the guidance of Prof. David Jackson. I met my teacher Sogyal Rinpoche in 2000 and have been following his teachings since then. In 2006 I began to study at a traditional Buddhist Scriptual College (Shedra) in Nepal as well as partially participating in a 3 Year Retreat in Lerab Ling, conducted by Sogyal Rinpoche. I aspire to become a translator for Tibetan Buddhism.
